Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Integrative Psychotherapy in Hannover-Kleefeld since 2015
2006 - 2012 Training in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre in London (UK)
The Minster Centre is a well established, BACP regulated training organisation for integrative psychotherapy and counselling.
The training focuses on experiential aspects of learning (learning by doing) and integrates attachment theory and psychodynamic thinking as well as humanistic schools. Rigorous self-examination is required from students. I completed the training with the 'Advanced Diploma Integrative Psychotherapy' as well as with an MA from Middlesex University. In 2011 I had obtained a diploma in integrative counselling.
Since 2015 I am working as an English Language Counsellor & Psychotherapist in Private Practice in Hannover-Kleefeld. In 2015 I had acquired a license as 'Heilpraktikerin beschränkt auf das Gebiet der Psychotherapie' (Gesundheitsamt, Hannover). The 'Heilpraktiker', a qualification that allows opening a private practice in Germany, is regulated within the German health system. As a - 'Heilpraktiker beschränkt auf das Gebiet der Psychotherapie'- I am not licensed to work with German health insurances, except private insurance (on a case by case basis). I am an individual member of Deutscher Dachverband für Psychotherapie e.V. DVP. Membership means the therapeutic training is seen as sufficient to obtain the ECP (European Certificate of Psychotherapists).

PhD in Religious Studies
I have been involved in inter-faith work for many years.
As a counsellor with a background in religious studies I appreciate how much a religious affiliation can mean. Equally I understand how conflictual a religious identity may become.
I am open to explore questions of meaning during the counselling session.
Religions traditions can be incredibly helpful as well as forces of destruction.
