2006 - 2012 Training in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre in London (UK)

The Minster Centre is a well established, BACP regulated training organisation for integrative psychotherapy and counselling.
The training focuses on experiential aspects of learning (learning by doing) through working in groups, with training clients and placements outside the organisation. Rigorous self-examination is required from students as well. The institute promotes academic excellence. I completed the training with an MA (accredited by Middlesex University), the 'Advanced Diploma Integrative Psychotherapy' and a diploma in integrative counselling.

Cross Cultural Work

I have lived and worked in London for almost twenty years and I have been offering counselling/ psychotherapy to international clients in Hannover-Kleefeld since 2015. I work cross culturally and am striving to be sensitive to issues of difference. I have worked in private practice as well as in hospital settings. I been involved in inter-faith work for many years. As someone with a religious background I am fully aware that faith can be a source of comfort as well as great pain. Many religious groups and teachings are oppressive.

European Association for Psychotherapy

I am a member of Deutscher Dachverband für Psychotherapie e.V. DVP, which is the German branch of the EAP. The EAP promotes Psychotherapy within in Europe. I am an ECP holder (EAP)(European Certificate for Psychotherapy), which is issued by the European Association for Psychotherapy based on a high standard of training and continuing professional development(EAP)).
